Anyone reading this heads up! The Jagdpanzer IV has been bashed with the nerf bat! The offering of a derp gun is no longer in the game and it sure seems like they nerfed the guns too! When AgingJedi shot that VK and did over 200 DMG I could not stop laughing! And then I saw that Jackson take 225 DMG I almost lost bladder control! This day and age getting close to that kind of DMG in this TD would be a work of divine intervention. The WG WIKI has this 88 doing 220 DMG average. This is a lie as well. I have played far too many games where I have to CONSTANTLY sling spit wads…er, sorry "shells", at enemy tanks in order to be at all effective. Playing this TD is more torture then it's worth. I am praying that the Jagdpanther is good, but I have the same feeling that it will be just like every tank in the game, a disappointment. Grind, grind, grind, trying to get to the next tank hoping that it will be better. Once your get it you realize that it too sucks because the first 50-80 games have you going against tanks 2 tiers higher. Complete BS.

The L/56 recently got buffed to 145 pen, which makes it MUCH more reliable and less frustrating to use. It still struggles vs tier 8s and some tier 7 heavies, but that's as is should be. This is a pretty decent TD now, and much more competitive in its tier.

The biggest buff needed in wot and one that years over due is for the 88mm L56 guns. They were marvellous weapons. We know War Gaming have injected pure fantasy into this game much of it centred around the Russian 122mm guns. Their rate of fire is pure fantasy as every single report I've ever read said they fired 1 to 1-1/2 rounds a minute maybe 2 under extremely favourable circumstances. And more so the penetration. Most things I've seen have the German 75 l70 and the Russian 100mm as far superior anti armor weapons. But that isn't the case in WOT is it ? So why not buff the 88mm l56 to say 155mm and the 75mm l70 to at least 175mm that would more reflect reality and you could just leave the Russian 122s alone so you don't upset the fan boys.

You're at least more tolerant of the Jagdpanzer IV than I expected. (Jingles and QB on the other hand..)

I loved and adored the Hetzer still do I'm fact. the Stug was great all around or at least up to Tier 6 anyways. this TD however.. man, I do the daily bonus exp game on it and have to put it to rest. . it's a pile of rusty metal. I would love to get my hands on the bigger tier ones however this might have to be a free xp fueled grind cos it's just straight up terrible… 🙁

For me, the mobility makes this one interesting, almost like a more realistic E25. The Pak 70 always seems more reliable to me and have also used it on most of my German mediums over the short 88. That being said the 88 alpha is better in that close quarters fight to the death if you are cornered.
